The Real Housewives of New York City’s most memorable alumni are ready to say goodbye to the Big Apple and hello to Palm Beach, Florida.
On Thursday, September 10, E! released the first trailer for season 1 of The Golden Life, starring Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, Dorinda Medley and Luann de Lesseps.
“Being together, I feel comfortable enough to party,” Sonja, 62, proclaims at the start of the sneak peek. “We’re taking our golden years to a golden place.”
The Sunshine State is expected to get a whole lot brighter — and louder — as the cast brings decades of friendship and feuds to sunny Palm Beach.
“I haven’t seen these women together in so long, and I’m so excited,” Kelly, 58, shares. “I am ready for a new beginning. Living your golden life means being the best version of you.”
Based on the trailer, however, not everything is rainbow and jelly beans. Ramona, 69, calls one cast member a liar while Sonja has a little too much to drink at some parties.
“I am the straw that stirs the drink,” she proclaims. “Kelly is a suck-up. She’s not a real friend.”
According to E!, cameras will roll as the iconic group of New York snowbirds pack their bags and head south to reconnect in their “golden” era of life. Whether it’s yacht parties accompanied by past flings, championing the Gay Polo League or glamorous shop-and-sip events in luxury boutiques, the ladies bring their iconic personalities to the exclusive Palm Beach scene.

“I’m coming here to Palm Beach to regain my power,” Luann, 61, says. “We’re here to have a good time, let our freak flags fly.”
Dorinda, 61, adds, “You’ve done the wife thing. You’ve done the motherhood thing, but I’m really engaged for the first time ever in my life. What I really want is to find out if I want to live here, and I want to reestablish my relationships with other girls.”
While it has yet to be seen just how much this cast has changed since they appeared in the Real Housewives franchise, Ramona assures viewers she is less interested in drama and more focused on charity galas and vibrant soirees.
“I have no stress. I think that’s why I look as good as I do,” she says. “People go, ‘All right, what did you do?’ I did nothing.”
As for Luann, she is still expanding her dazzling cabaret show nationwide while looking for a good man.
“I just got to the golden part of my life. I don’t want to go anywhere,” she says. “I think the libido is more active in Palm Beach.”
The Golden Life, featuring guest appearances by Candace Bushnell and Margaret Josephs, premieres on E! Tuesday, October 20, at 10 p.m. ET with a special 90-minute episode.
