Her mini-me! Tiffani Thiessen loves to cook — on and off screen. The White Collar alum dropped by Us Weekly’s NYC headquarters to dish about season 2 of her Cooking Channel series, Dinner at Tiffani’s, a huge Saved by the Bell reunion that’s on the way (squee!) and how her 5-year-old daughter, Harper, loves being her helper in the kitchen.
“She always says, ‘Mommy, you’re such a good cooker.’ And it’s the way she says it, it’s quite cute,” Tiffani, 42, gushes to Us. “But she loves to get creative. I kind of give her the sink and she likes to pretend she’s making soup. She takes anything and everything, and then she salt and peppers everything at the end.”
The Saved by the Bell alum also has her hands full with son Holt, 7 months. She and her husband, actor Brady Smith, welcomed their baby boy in July 2015.
“I’m literally creating his meal!” Thiessen jokes of breastfeeding. “He’s just starting with baby food right now so it’s very, very basic. But I’m excited actually to get back into making baby food again. More than just the basic stuff that I’m doing now, which is mashed-up bananas and mashed-up avocados and mashed-up strawberries.”
Needless to say, Thiessen enjoys whipping up delicious treats for her loved ones. (She recently teamed with Quaker Oats for the Bring Your Best Bowl contest, where contestants have the chance to win $250,000 if they concoct the best new oatmeal flavor.) She also likes to roll up her sleeves with famous friends on her show. This season, a familiar face from Bayside High will be joining her!
