Who let the dogs out? In the Monday, November 14, episode of Vanderpump Rules, the Sur team helped Lisa Vanderpump prepare for her World Dog Day event. The feuding castmates tried to set their differences aside and just focus on charity — but not even hundreds of playful puppies could prevent drama from going down.
Speaking of Going “Down” …
Lisa gathered the crew together at the Sur office to plan the four-legged celebration. At the meeting, Scheana Shay reminded Lisa that Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute received invitations to the event. Lisa wasn’t thrilled, but Scheana reassured her boss that Kristen would likely donate a nice chunk of money toward the cause.
“I hear she’s very giving,” Lisa slyly remarked, referring to the restaurant-wide rumor that Kristen allegedly performed an oral sex act on new hire Brittany Cartwright.
The subtle dig was enough to make Brittany stop in her tracks. She became visibly upset — but not at Lisa. Her frustration was directed entirely toward her boyfriend, Jax Taylor, who happened to start the wildfire rumor in the first place.
“If you really love me, why don’t you have my back?” Brittany demanded.
Jax continued to stand by his version of the hookup, despite the girls’ relentless denial. “It was just like a blur,” Kristen swore. “One hundred percent, I did not go down on Brittany.”
But Lisa seemed convinced that she knew the full story. “I heard exactly what went down,” Lisa told cameras before cheekily adding, “It was Kristen.”
T&T Get Some R&R
For a nice, bromantic afternoon, the Toms — Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz — treated themselves to a spa day.
“Should we make eye contact the whole time?” Schwartz joked during their couples massage.
As they relaxed in the Jacuzzi, the buddies began discussing Schwartz’ upcoming wedding to Katie Maloney. The groom-to-be described his budget as “frugal and fun,” insisting that he and Katie weren’t going to “spend 10 grand on flowers or s–t like that.”
His fiancée, on the other hand, revealed to Stassi that she’d happily drop $50,000 for the big day — including $15,000 on flowers.
Tom No. 2 offered up some advice for the indecisive couple: “You guys maybe need to look at some therapy or something, dude.”
Lala Seeks Some Motherly Advice
A few days after Lala Kent explosively body-shamed her coworkers, the hostess met up with her mother for a venting session over lunch.
“I feel like I’m turning into a very, like, vicious person,” she tearfully told her mom.
Her mother lightly suggested that Lala might be acting out because she was bullied as a kid, and recommended that she stop drinking — so Lala instinctively ordered a pinot grigio.
“When I say my mother knows everything, she knows everything,” Lala candidly told cameras. “Down to the fact that I lost my virginity with a red condom to the song ‘Lollipop’ by Lil Wayne.”
After a quick cry, Lala finally settled on a two-drink limit and vowed to try to suppress her “vicious bitch” tendencies.
Lisa Throws Major Shade
Lisa may be a self-proclaimed dog lover, but she admits, “Everybody knows how I feel about bitches.” As Stassi and Kristen arrived to World Dog Day, the Real Housewives star added, “Here comes a couple more.”
The duo made it a point to track down Lisa and congratulate her on a successful event — but only after they grabbed a set of cute puppies to take along with them.
“There’s no way Lisa could be mean to me. I’m disarming her … with my pups,” Stassi explained.
Stassi and Kristen wandered over to Lisa’s table to pay her the compliment. “You’re saying something good and positive?” a skeptical Lisa questioned, raising her eyebrows.
Lisa asked the pair to donate to the charity, bringing up the fact that Kristen may be giving “some people more than what they need …” To Lisa’s delight, Kristen immediately tensed up at the mention of her and Brittany’s hookup.
“I’m speechless,” Kristen cringed as she described the awkward encounter. “Jax is a f–king a–hole.”
The Dog Days Are Over
Staff members informed Lisa at the event that James Kennedy (surprise!) had caused more intoxicated trouble at the restaurant the night before. James naturally blamed his behavior on anyone but himself, citing “jealousy” as the reason why people take issue with him.
“I don’t want to sound cocky, but I’m young, I’m good-looking, I’m a f–king DJ in Los Angeles,” James rattled off. “I’m f–king killing the game here.”
James did attempt to apologize to the gang for his verbal attacks, but Katie made it clear that she doubts James is ever going to change — and Lisa agreed.
“If James is at fault, he will definitely be let go,” Lisa insisted. “I’m not going to put up with it.”
