West Wilson is returning to reality for Celebrity Million Dollar Secret following his Summer House exit and romance scandal.
Netflix announced on Wednesday, September 23, that West, 31, is one of 13 stars that will be put to the “ultimate test” when Million Dollar Secret returns with a “celebrity twist” in 2027.
In the new version of the reality show, hosted by Peter Serafinowicz, celebrities will “try their hand at the ultimate game of deception,” per the press release.
“Faced with elimination and sequestered in a lavish mansion, a slew of celebrity contestants must outwit their competition and identify the recipient of a million dollars hiding among them,” the official synopsis reads. “This time the stakes are higher than ever, as the players are all public figures who have even fewer places to hide as they navigate the ever-changing game of deception. Do they have what it takes to keep their Million Dollar Secret?”
West will compete against David Arquette, Melora Hardin, Olympian Adam Rippon, pro wrestler Adam Scherr, podcaster Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, comedians Bridget Everett, Phoebe Robinson and Chris Redd, Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn, Love Island USA’s Chelley Bissainthe, Too Hot to Handle’s Chloe Veitch and Perfect Match’s Dom Gabriel.
The Netflix series marks West’s first TV role since Us exclusively confirmed in June that he would not be returning to Summer House amid his relationship with costar Amanda Batula. A source told Us at the time it was a “mutual decision” between West and Bravo.
West and Amanda, 35, sparked controversy in February when they were rumored to be dating after she announced her split from estranged husband Kyle Cooke one month prior. (Kyle, 44, and Amanda were married four years before their breakup.)
The pair initially denied they were anything more than friends before releasing a joint statement in March confirming their relationship had turned romantic.
The reveal raised eyebrows among Summer House fans and castmates alike — in part because West previously dated Amanda’s former friend Ciara Miller. (The duo were allegedly having “sleepovers” as recently as fall 2025.)
Amid the fallout, Us confirmed that Amanda would also not be back for season 11 of the Bravo show.
“Amanda was not invited back to season 11,” a source told Us in June, noting that Amanda herself seemed to “agree it’s not a good fit.”
A separate insider later revealed how West and Amanda’s relationship could spill over into the potential second season of the Summer House spinoff In the City.
“If Amanda returns for a second season of the show, the cast would not be particularly welcoming toward him,” the source said of West’s possible involvement in the show. “They aren’t friends with him in real life. They don’t like him because of what happened with [him and] Ciara. They are friends with Ciara and Kyle and have loyalty to them.”
Despite the drama surrounding their relationship, West and Amanda didn’t shy away from showing off their connection this summer.
“Amanda and West are still going strong and are very serious,” a source told Us last month. “They know many people doubted them, but they are doing really well and are still super happy.”
