Heading back to camp! After months of planning, the 2001 satirical comedy Wet Hot American Summer is officially getting an 8-episode limited Netflix series, Deadline reported on Friday, Jan. 9.

To top it off, the entire original cast is set to return. The jam-packed, star-studded ensemble group includes Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Banks, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, H. Jon Benjamin, Michael Ian Black, Janeane Garofalo, Ken Marino, David Hyde Pierce, Christopher Meloni, Michael Showalter, Judah Friedlander, Nina Hellman, Zak Orth, Joe LoTruglio, A.D. Miles, Marguerite Moreau, Kevin Sussman, and Marisa Ryan.

Wet Hot American Summer takes place at a fictional Jewish camp during the summer of 1981, where the counselors have one last day to resolve their unfinished business.

The film's writers, Showalter and David Wain, previously confirmed that a prequel in some capacity was in the works. In August 2011, the cast celebrated its 10th anniversary at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York.
