Luck just isn't on Dancing With the Stars' Tony Dovolani's side when it comes to working with celebrity partners.
First, he partners with mom of eight Kate Gosselin on last year's show, famously bringing her to tears and telling her "I quit" during one rehearsal. For season 12, he is linked with daytime talk show host Wendy Williams, who, on Monday's premiere, also shed a few tears.
When each woman hit the floor, the judges took note — but not for the right reasons. Though Williams admitted she "did the best I could for this week," it was hard for DWTS loyalists not to recall Gosselin's disastrous Viennese Waltz from the 2010 premiere.
"The technique was terrible," judge Bruno Tonioli told Gosselin after her turn on the floor. "It looked like Tony was pushing a shopping cart across the floor. You have to exude something!" As for Williams, Tonioli praised her voluptuous figure, but harped on her technique.
While Williams waits another week to hear her fate in the competition, revisit her and Gosselin's steps above and tell Us: Which of Tony Dovolani's partners has the better moves?
