Luke Cuccurullo and Kate Sisk’s honeymoon has not gone smoothly. He admitted to his wife this week that he is not attracted to her at all, which could be why physical intimacy or showing any affection has been so difficult for him. “It’s worst case scenario,” she said. “My husband isn’t attracted to me and knowing that that could be a reason why this marriage fails is very disheartening.”
When Luke finally did kiss his wife, it didn’t go well: “He said he felt dead inside. He said he just felt repulsed.”
She was obviously upset about the situation and at a loss at what to do. “I turned off my emotions inside to kiss her. It didn’t feel natural. It felt really disjointed somehow and it was definitely a situation that was uncomfortable,” Luke said afterward. “It feels absolutely terrible that there’s a chance this relationship won’t work out."
AJ Vollmoeller and Stephanie Sersen haven’t had any problems within their marriage, but the whole aspect of filming has caused some issues. AJ blew up on the production team for making them do an activity set up by the experts.
“The filming and production part of getting Married at First Sight, it’s overwhelming,” AJ said. Stephanie then got frustrated and started crying a bit at AJ’s erratic behavior. “That was the first time I’ve really seen him mad,” she said. “I hope that it’s not a small glimpse into what’s coming.”
Jasmine McGriff and Will Guess seemed to initially hit it off, but they have started to have some problems. She’s a thrill seeker and he’s more reserved, and they definitely have different ideals of home life. This week, Jasmine was really over how messy Will is.
“Will is the opposite of me so it’s challenging,” Jasmine said. “I’m hoping that he is not like this in the future.”
He cares more about having fun on vacation than cleaning. “I’m on vacation I don’t want to be wasting time folding clothes,” he said. “Room service does that; I want to keep everybody employed.”
Kristine Killingsworth and Keith Dewar are the definition of the honeymoon phase. He’s even committed to working out for her and says she’s “my best friend already.” Their only problem is that they both live with their parents, so they need to figure out a living situation once they leave Costa Rica.
“We’re too old to be a married couple at my grandma’s house,” Keith said. Time will tell if they will continue to be in this phase or if real life will hit them hard.
Married at First Sight (produced by Kinetic Content) airs on Lifetime Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
