Chick-fil-A Hack Involving a Straw and Take-Out Container Is Blowing Everyone’s Mind

Who knew ordering food from Chick-fil-A could get even more appealing? The fast-food chain that’s gifted us with tasty chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and more is apparently incredibly savvy to boot, at least given how it designed its take-out containers.

As noted recently by a Twitter user who goes by the handle @ShowOut45, the hole in the top of that disposable cardboard box used to hold many a Chick-fil-A meals isn’t just a way to check up on your chicken tenders. It’s also a way to seamlessly keep food and dink together while on the go.

@ShowOut45 demonstrated this by putting the straw through the hole in his chicken nugget box, thus creating one unit of Chick-fil-A goodness instead of two. “Lmao nobody can say they knew this,” he tweeted along with the game-changing snapshot. Not surprisingly, the tweet has since gone viral, receiving more than 137,000 likes and more than 42,000 retweets.

While this configuration might not seem life-altering, the fact that consumers now know they can rest their food on top of their drink, thus eliminating messes and making driving while eating easier, is pretty thrilling. “I am so shook. I’m trying this tomorrow,” wrote one Twitter user. Added another: “How have I never thought of this … ”

Even comedian Lil Duval was thoroughly shocked by the “genius” hack, which he tried out for himself on Instagram on Tuesday, November 13. “The sh–t worked and everything,” he said as he held onto his drink and food at the same time. “Hell no!”

In addition to changing the way people eat Chick-fil-A, this trick has also inspired some social media users to create “hacks” of their own, such as skewering an entire sandwich with a straw which, given the lack of an opening, obviously doesn’t have the same effect.
