Victoria Beckham is a bit of picky eater, but she knows what she likes. Posh Spice, who is currently in Australia with her husband, David Beckham, and their family, has reportedly visited a Sydney eatery called Fresh Blend every day since arriving in the country earlier this month, and has developed an affinity for Australian carrots.
Owner Katrina Magill tells News.com that the Victoria, by Victoria Beckham designer is so taken with the new veggie she had David, 43, stop by to pick up a single carrot for her on Friday, October 26, while she waited in the car outside. “David said that his wife absolutely loves the carrots in Australia — and his only request was that I peel it,” Magill explained to local outlet, Mosman Collective. “So I cut it up into carrot sticks, popped it into a cup — and he took it out to the car where she was sitting!”
In addition to the lone vegetable, the soccer star also purchased some acai bowls for sons Romeo, 16, and Cruz, 13, who are visiting Australia with their famous parents to attend the Invictus Games, for which the athlete is an ambassador. The annual event, which concluded in Sydney on Sunday, October 27, with some help from the Games’ founder Prince Harry and pregnant Duchess Meghan, celebrates wounded or injured armed services personnel as they compete in multiple sporting events.
The Beckhams are also parents of Brooklyn, 19, who is at college, and Harper, 7, who was in Sydney as well.
As for the former Spice Girl’s strange food request? This is hardly the first time the “Wannabe” singer, 44, has shown off her healthy eating habits, which stem from her strict diet. In 2018, the U.K. native celebrated her birthday with a “cake” made entirely of fruit.
“You know, I eat very healthily,” she told Elle of how she keeps her slim figure back in 2014. “I eat lots of fish, lots of vegetables, and a lot of fruit. I work out every day, six or seven days.”
Here’s hoping you enjoyed that singular carrot, Victoria!
