Even Kim Kardashian is susceptible to an LOL-worthy prank! In the spirit of April Fools’ Day on Monday, April 1, the reality star revealed her three children – North, 5, Saint, 3, and Chicago, 14 months, – had some fun at her expense.
Kardashian, 38, revealed the playful gag via her Instagram Stories on Monday by sharing a photo of her breakfast. The meal, which consisted of pancakes, fresh fruit and two small pieces of meat, was covered in “spiders” and a bevy of other fake, plastic critters.
“My kids got me!” the mom of three wrote above the snapshot of her creepy-crawly meal. “#AprilFools.”
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night with sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian, the KKW Beauty founder revealed that her eldest child actually has quite the sense of humor, especially when it comes to her family’s fame.
“The other day I took North to a wedding and she was rolling down the window and going: ‘Kim Kardashian’s in here!’ like, screaming to all the drivers, saying: ‘Hi! I’m North West! Kanye West is my dad!’” she explained. “And I was just, like, ‘Oh, my gosh,’ rolling up the window and putting on the child-lock.”
By the time April Fools’ Day 2020 rolls around, North will have a new little jokester on her team. Kim and her husband, Kanye West, are due to welcome their fourth child, a boy, in May.
The expectant parents are currently preparing for the little one’s impending arrival by making sure that his room is good to go. “Kim and Kanye have begun work on the nursery,” an insider told Us Weekly last month. “North fully understands what’s going on and is so into it. Kim is in a great place.”
And although the Selfish author told Jimmy Kimmel she had at least one moniker in mind for her little one – “Rob,” after her brother and late father – it doesn’t sound like the Wests have officially settled on a name for the new addition just yet.
“Kim and Kanye are not close to naming the new baby,” the source added. “They won’t know until the week before and probably only day of. It’s quite the process.”
