Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte May Return This Month: Twitter Reacts

Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte is readying to make its yearly debut, and it’s earlier than usual!

Though fall doesn’t technically begin until Saturday, September 22, internal documents from Starbucks reportedly reveal that the chain’s popular Pumpkin Spice Latte drink, which represents the start of the season to many, will be available in stores starting on Tuesday, August 28.

According to Business Insider, an internal announcement regarding the coffee giant’s fall menu shows that the PSL’s triumphant return is scheduled for August 28, the Tuesday before Labor Day weekend.

The outlet also reports that Starbucks employees have already begun receiving PSL supplies – yet another indication the beloved beverage’s return is imminent.

What’s more? The Starbucks documents show that, in addition to the PSL, the worldwide chain also plans to bring back the Salted Caramel Mocha and the Teavana Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte, which was first introduced on August 28 of last year.

As Pumpkin Spice Latte aficionados may know, August 28 is a bit early for the PSL to be making its annal comeback. In fact, an analysis of the drink’s yearly return dates shows it typically appears on Starbucks’ fall menu sometime between August 30 and September 4.
