These Cassandra boots have a smooth leather upper and a silhouette that hits at the ankle. We not only appreciate this ankle support, but we need to point out that the inside of the ankle is lightly padded, so we don’t need to layer up on bandages to prevent chafing or stiffness! These boots may have a bit of an edge, but there will be no sharp edges poking at us!
On the outside is a decorative criss-cross strap detail at the ankle with a belt-style buckle, the hardware color varying depending on which shade of the boot we’re looking at. Check the side of the boot for the hidden secret when it comes to the easy on-and-off aspect of footwear. There’s a slanted zipper closure! This is not only incredibly useful but it adds to the edge of the straps as the two meet.
On the inside of this boot we can find soft fabric linings that are designed to feel “next-to-skin.” We’ll also find a patented contoured footbed, which features dual density cushioning that offers arch support and breathable comfort.
