The checkerboard version of these shoes has a durable canvas upper with top-stitching accents, as well as goring at the opening for an easy on and off. The collar is padded for ankle comfort, and when you dive in, you’ll find equally as impressive features. There’s a breathable cotton lining as well as a padded footbed that works to absorb shock, the EVA insert adding support. Beneath that is Vans’ famous gum rubber outsole featuring a waffle treat for grip!
These low-profile slip-on sneakers are shockingly versatile. It’s like we think we’ve finally hit the wall of outfit possibilities, and then someone like Roberts hits us with a “Surprise, bet you thought…” and shows us a whole new way to wear them. We’ll definitely be emulating her outfit this fall, but it will be just one of many ensembles we put together featuring these Vans. We’re also picturing them with an off-the-shoulder sweater dress, a crew neck and skinnies and a quilted coat, beanie and jogger combo. They’ll go with anything and everything. They’re even a favorite of some rock ‘n’ roll brides and grooms out there. We’ll never let our shoe rack be without a pair again!
