Typically, we view sandals as temporary. They’re basically just passing by, like a gust of wind. The quality just isn’t there for a long-lasting relationship. We’re stuck in an endless cycle of sandals and we can’t get out!

Reviewers are saying the Kirras are “hands-down, the best sandals [they’ve] ever owned.” One said they even walked 13,000 steps in their pair one day, with “no pain that night” at all! Even our sneakers start to become uncomfortable at that point. “This brand literally saves my feet,” one shopper said of VIONIC, while others commented on how “the design is beautiful.”

These sandals are thong style with a wide center strap for the vamp, tapering as it comes to a point at the toe post. The uppers are made of a smooth and solid leather, but the toe post is actually a soft, flexible, webbed nylon. So much more comfortable than a stiff, anchored toe post!

These Kirras have a slingback strap with an adjustable buckle closure at the ankle. This buckle is either gold or silver in color, depending on which shade of shoe we choose. We’ll see matching hardware where all of the straps connect, looping around a metallic ring on either side of the foot!

Underneath the upper are soft and breathable microfiber linings that won’t leave the top of our foot sweaty or suffocated. The footbed is super soft too! It’s contoured, with a heel cup to keep us sturdy and noteworthy arch support that won’t leave us with foot fatigue!

The midsole of the shoe is super flexible and lightweight, made of EVA foam. EVA foam is not only durable, but it provides amazing shock absorption to keep our feet, ankles and knees happy. The outsole of this sandal is made of a tough rubber and features a wavy, patterned tread from heel to toe, offering reliable traction for poolside walks and unseen spills!

The Kirra is currently available in four colors. Each shoe features a matching tan footbed, but the upper, hardware and outsole colors differ with each choice. Both Black and Brown feature golden hardware and a brown sole. Cherry, though, a candy red, has a much darker brown sole with a red logo accent. The last shade, Navy, actually has a black outsole, as well as silver hardware!

When picking out what will soon become our very own pair of Kirras, it’s important to note that we can not only choose our size, but our preferred width, too! When a brand puts so much thought into its shoe’s design, it’s also going to consider the fact that not every foot in the same exact shape, and VIONIC was on top of it. If we’re going to truly name a pair of sandals comfortable, they have to be comfortable for everyone!
