DC's Legends of Tomorrow

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is an Arrowverse spinoff that premiered on The CW in 2016.

The series follows time traveler Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) as he pursues tyrant Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), whose future self takes over the world and kills Rip’s family. Rip recruits a group of heroes and villains to help him on his mission, including Atom Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), White Canary Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), Hawkgirl Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renée), Firestorm Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (Franz Drameh), Hawkman Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel), Captain Cold Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell). The group ventures through time on Waverider, a ship operated by artificial intelligence Gideon (Amy Louise Pemberton).

Showrunner Keto Shimizu did not intend for the show’s seventh season to be its last, but The CW canceled Legends of Tomorrow before season 8 could be ordered. Season 7 aired from October 2021 to March 2022.
