A Nevada judge has ordered boxer Floyd Mayweather to pay nearly $1 million in back child support to a dancer at his Las Vegas strip club after it was determined they share a child.
Mayweather, 49, must also pay $33,000 per month in child support for the four-year-old girl, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports on Thursday, May 21.
Mayweather was legally declared the father of Price Moorehead in March, almost three years after her mom, Paige Moorehead, first asked the courts to get involved.
Price, born in December 2021, is Mayweather’s fifth child. He shared sons Koraun, 26, and Zion, 25, as well as daughter Jirra, 22, with late ex Josie Harris. Mayweather also shares daughter Iyanna, 26, with ex-girlfriend Melissa Brim.
Paige alleges that she and Mayweather were in an intimate relationship for eight years before he broke up with her in April 2021 when he learned she was pregnant, according to TMZ. At that point, the undefeated boxer allegedly pressured her to have an abortion, then fired her after four years of working at his Girl Collection club.
TMZ reports that Mayweather was served twice and ordered to take a DNA test, which he refused. The judge then declared him the father in a default judgment.
With Mayweather having only paid $151,000 of what he owes, the outlet also reports that Paige may place a lien of up to $2 million on any of his properties in California to ensure she gets what she is owed.
Mayweather officially retired from professional boxing in 2017, but remained active in exhibition bouts. He announced in February that he would make a comeback to face Manny Pacquiao in September — a rematch of their 2015 fight.
Mayweather has had rocky relationships with his kids in the past, but has spoken glowingly about them in the media. In a 2022 appearance on “The Pivot” podcast, he talked about the values he instilled in them growing up.
“I make sure all my kids went to public school. Not private school,” he said. “Public school is more like the real world, I feel like private school is more like a boot camp.”
Mayweather continued, “Everybody gotta dress the same, ’cause they want to keep everybody in a level playing field. But public school is more like [the] real world. It is more diverse.”
After Harris died of an accidental overdose at age 40 in 2020, Jirrah admitted she was having trouble adjusting to life with her dad. In a since-deleted post via Instagram, Mayweather responded by saying “I will always love you unconditionally.”
“There is no limit to how far you can go in life,” he added. “Always put God first and everything else will fall in place.”
