Kansas City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt will have her large inner circle by her side when she ties the knot with Derek Green.
“Asking my 14 bridesmaids to be in my wedding,” Hunt wrote over a Saturday, May 16, Instagram video.
In the clip, Hunt celebrated her upcoming nuptials by raising a glass at a gathering with her loved ones. The table was set with white and gold plates and glasses and bouquets of white flowers. Hunt, for her part, dressed to the theme in a white dress and styled her hair down in loose waves.
“Some of God’s greatest gifts in my life have been the women who have walked beside me through every season 🤍 #Evergreen,” Hunt captioned the post.
In a separate Instagram post, Gracie — the daughter of Chiefs owner, Clark Hunt — shared a series of snaps posing with the group.
“Looking around this room yesterday, I couldn’t help but thank God for the way He so intentionally placed each one of these amazing women (& @mr.austinryde) into my life,” she wrote via Instagram on Sunday, May 17. “Through every season, they’ve loved me, prayed for me, encouraged me, challenged me, and helped shape me into who I am today. I truly would not be the same without them.”
She continued, “There is something so special about being surrounded by women who make you feel stronger, wiser, softer, and closer to Jesus just by knowing them. My heart is overwhelmingly grateful for each of these friendships and the gift of getting to do life together. Forever thankful for my squad 🤍 #Evergreen #Bridesmaids #Wedding #Bride #Love.”
Gracie went on to praise her mom, Tavia Hunt, for planning the bridesmaids’ proposal and engagement party. In the post, Gracie shared close-up details of her look for the event.
“Still can’t get over how special this day felt 🥹,” she wrote via Instagram on Monday, May 18. “Every little detail was so thoughtful and full of love, and I know how much time, energy, and heart went into making it all happen. Thank you @TaviaHunt for planning the most beautiful bridesmaids proposal and engagement party. I’m forever thankful for this season, these memories, and the people who make life so sweet 🤍 #Evergreen.”
The couple announced their engagement in April, sharing a series of photos of Green popping the question.
“It was always you 💍❤️♾️,” the pair wrote at the time. “‘And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.’ Romans 8:28.”
