Taylor Fritz is heating up the internet with some post breakup thirst traps.
Less than a month after Us Weekly confirmed that Fritz, 28, had split from influencer Morgan Riddle after nearly six years of dating, the tennis pro took to social media with a few shirtless gym photos.
“Just been working,” Fritz wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, May 13, while lifting weights in BOSS shorts.
While other pictures in his Instagram carousel showed the athlete competing on the tennis court, fans quickly took notice of his physique as he prepared to kick off a single summer.
“I could easily see all of these as my new screensaver,” fellow tennis player Reilly Opelka joked in the comments section. Another fan added, “Imma tell my kids this was Tom Brady.”
While Fritz and Riddle, 28, have not publicly addressed their breakup, a source told Us in April that the pair “quietly split over a month ago.”
Riddle, however, raised eyebrows when she posted an Instagram photo wearing a T-shirt that read, “World’s best ex-girlfriend.”
A separate Instagram video posted by Riddle included the message, “High standards because this is how my gay best friend treats me.”
Fritz and Riddle’s romance started in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic when the pair connected on Raya, a members-only dating app.
“Because it was during Covid, no restaurants were open, no bars were open so we ordered sushi,” she recalled about their first date to People. “We went to his place and I made him watch Midsommar with me, the really messed up horror movie. Why I chose that as my first introduction to a guy, I don’t really know. I think I traumatized him a little bit.”
Fritz said he was upfront that his tennis schedule would take him all over the world. Ultimately, it didn’t prevent Riddle from staying committed and moving in after a few weeks of dating.
“I was like, ‘Look, this is not how it’s going to be. I don’t have this free time. I’m going to be traveling, like, every single week,’” he recalled to the New York Times in August 2023 after the publication called Riddle “the most famous woman in men’s tennis.”
“But I also said, ‘You know, it’s not a bad deal — you can travel all over the world, if you’re up for it,’” he added.
Before their split, Riddle and Fritz traveled the world and were able to experience countless tennis matches and even the 2024 Summer Olympics.
