Golf legend Tiger Woods is back in the United States following his stay at a rehab facility in Switzerland, according to footage published by TMZ Sports on Thursday, May 14.
The video is reportedly from Wednesday, May 13, and was taken through a fence showing Woods, 50, getting off his private jet in Palm Beach, Florida. Woods is wearing khaki shorts and a black jacket with a matching hat and sunglasses.
Woods first landed in Switzerland on April 3 to start his treatment, two days after a judge granted him permission to travel abroad.
Woods’ lawyer, Dennis Duncan, wrote to the judge that his client had an “urgent need for a level of care that cannot safely or effectively be done within the United States,” according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly.
“Ongoing medical scrutiny and public exposure create significant barriers to his care and would result in setbacks and an inability to fully engage in treatment,” Duncan explained. “Based upon Defendant’s treating physician’s opinions, inpatient treatment at the out of country treatment facility is medically necessary due to the Defendant’s complexity, and need for an intensive highly individualized and medically integrated program.”
The golfer decided to seek treatment after he was arrested on March 27 and charged with DUI, property damage and refusal to submit a lawful (urine) test after he was involved in a rollover car accident in Florida.

Woods pleaded not guilty to the charges on March 31 and broke his silence with a statement released via X that same day.
“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” he wrote. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.”
Woods continued, “I’ve committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”
Bodycam footage from after the accident, obtained by Us Weekly on April 2, shows Woods speaking to police officers and attempting several field sobriety tests.
After apparently failing one or more tests, an officer says to Woods, “At this time, I do believe your normal faculties are impaired and you’re under an unknown substance, so at this time, you are under arrest for DUI.”
