With as much face time as Giuliana Rancic logs on TV, it makes perfect sense that we'd eventually pick up a few beauty tips from the E! News and Fashion Police co-host. And in honor of her 36th birthday on August 17, we decided to call out what we’ve learned from the star, who always seems to look flawless — even in HD.

Take care of your skin. "I use the DDF Revolve 400x exfoliating system twice a week, and it's like getting microdermabrasion at home," the Giuliana and Bill star told Us Weekly in June. "It's so amazing and makes my skin look so nice that I actually stopped getting professional facials. In between treatments, I cleanse daily with the same tool, but switch the head from the foam exfoliator to the brush."

Master the art of false eye lashes. In Bluefly's Closet Confessions series, Rancic guided fans through her E! dressing room and stopped by her makeup station, where she showed off her extensive collection of falsies. "I have like four layers of lashes on right now," she reveals in the vid.

Play up your skin tone the safe way. During awards season especially, Rancic hosts the red carpet in a slew of sexy backless dresses. To get shimmering sun-kissed skin, she relies on GLEAM Body Radiance (which is also used by the Dancing with the Stars cast) to achieve what she calls a "JLo glow."

Make your hair color fuss-free. In a world where grown-out hair color can cause a panic attack, Rancic has consistently rocked darker roots and lighter strands.

Know what works for you — and don’t be afraid to stick with it. "I've had the long hair for years and people will tweet me telling me to cut my hair because I've had the same hair for 10 years," Rancic said in an interview on BeautyHigh.com. "The thing is, I find it really versatile. I can do a lot with it, ponytails, fishtail braids, I can do updos, long and straight, long and wavy. I get it, people want me to try something different. As much as I would love to do short hair, it's really gorgeous, it would limit me. I like to play around and try things out."
