She’s on cloud nine! Just one day after the world learned she is engaged to her new boyfriend Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande revealed on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, June 12, that she has another very special announcement to share: she will be launching a new fragrance! The pop princess released a short video of a dreamy cloud-shaped bottle — perhaps echoing her current “floating on air” status — with the message “new perfume coming soon.”

While there is no word yet on what the scent will smell like, the bottle certainly seems to have a very adorable significance. With a fluffy white cloud base that is topped with a blue glass rainbow, the whimsical flacon seems to be a reference to all those cloud emojis she’s been posting in her Insta captions as of late. Oh, and her fiancé Davidson had the pillowy shape tattooed on his left middle finger late last month reportedly in her honor.

The heavenly creation will not be Ari’s first foray into fragrance, but it will certainly be a departure from her previous endeavors. In 2015, the “No Tears Left To Cry” singer launched her signature scent, Ari by Ariana Grande. Housed in a pink faceted glass bottle with a white pom-pom at the neck, the scent is a feminine blend of citrus and rose with a hint of woody musk and the design ended up serving as a blueprint for the three additional scents that followed.

Packaged in a silver and black version, she released a unisex fragrance named Frankie (an ode to her brother) in 2016 that smells of zesty pink pepper and sandalwood. And then there were two more in 2017: the vanilla-based Moonlight (a holographic bottle with a purple pom-pom) and gourmand Sweet Like Candy (in head-to-toe millennial pink).

While the frilly pom-pom-adorned bottles certainly suit her girly aesthetic, we know Ariana has undergone a lot of personal transformations in the past few months. She told British Vogue that 2017 was the “year that changed everything,” and now it looks like 2018 will ring in new love and a new scent — with an even newer look — for the songstress.
