There are certainly no tears to cry over this engagement ring! Us Weekly exclusively confirmed on Monday, June 11, Ariana Grande and her SNL beau Pete Davidson had gotten engaged after a whirlwind courtship, and now we are getting a better look at the massive sparkler the funny man popped the question with.
As it turns out, Ariana’s ring has been hiding in plain sight for almost two weeks, with the songstress first debuting the massive teardrop bauble during her performance at Wango Tango on Saturday, June 2 — though no one made the connection at the time.
The blinding pear-shaped diamond appears to be set in platinum and surrounded by a halo of smaller stones. The slender band also is completely encrusted in diamonds. TMZ is reporting that Davidson commissioned NYC jeweler Greg Yuna (a.k.a. Mr. Flawless) to design the $93,000 ring about two weeks ago, and he seemingly confirmed the report on his Instagram Story. Previously, some fans believed the ring could have been the Tiffany & Co. Soleste Pear engagement ring, which starts at around $14,500.
On stage at Wango Tango, the sparkler was prominently perched on the “No Tears Left To Cry” singer’s left ring finger, but she piled a few sparkly first knuckle rings above it that coordinated with the diamond stud earrings and additional finger candy she was sporting on her right hand. Video from an interview with REAL 92.3’s Big Boy last week, meanwhile, shows she also rocked the enormous rock at a listening part for Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s Kids See Ghosts album, but she apparently tried to keep it hidden underneath her jacket.
By last night, however, Ariana was seemingly ready to share her love with the world — heading to Disneyland with Davidson, her mom and brother in Minnie Mouse ears and an oversized sweatshirt. The ring (along with her fab white mani) was on display as she rode the rides and shared glimpses of the night on her Instagram Story.
While sources tell Us that the two “are not rushing to get married,” we’re sure the 24-year-old beauty won’t mind showing off her new bling in the meantime!
