Evan Rachel Wood is lashing out — with a major set of falsies!
Clad in black skinnies, an ivory silk top and black vest, the actress stepped out at the Mildred Pierce photocall in Venice, Italy on Friday donning a set of sky-high false eyelashes. She kept her makeup subdued with nude lips, black eyeliner, smoky grey eye shadow and flawless skin.
We love seeing the 23-year-old star, who often rocks androgynous menswear looks on the red carpet, gussied up in a feminine attribute like lengthy lashes. In fact, between her makeup and side-swept hairstyle, Wood seemed to be channeling fashion icon Twiggy.
False lashes are as abundant as hair extensions in Hollywood, with gorgeous stars like Kim Kardashian and Giuliana Rancic relying on fake fringe for a sexy, come-hither touch to their eyes. Problem is, they're a bit tricky: Jersey Shore's Sammi Giancola had a makeup malfunction during a photo opp at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards Aug. 29 when one of her lash strips became unglued!
