Holy wardrobe malfunction, Batman! Ben Affleck made it down the red carpet at the European premiere of Suicide Squad on Wednesday, August 3, in London, looking pretty put together. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for his ensemble walking into the afterparty.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor, 43, strolled up to the fete at Claridge’s hotel with the pants of his slate suit both unbuttoned and partially unzipped. His belt was buckled far outside the loops of his pants, and his shirt was half tucked in. (His tie, however, was still perfectly knotted, so points there!)
Thankfully, his appearance on the red carpet was decidedly more refined. The Oscar-winning multi-hyphenate, who split from his wife, Jennifer Garner, last summer after 10 years of marriage, was perfectly poised heading into the theater. There was one moment, though, where he was caught grimacing while pulling his pants up, so clearly, the sartorial difficulties started early for the star.
As a member of the DC universe, Affleck, who shares three children with Garner, was on-hand to promote the latest from the company. He was joined by the Superman to his Batman, Henry Cavill, as well as the whole Suicide Squad cast, including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne and Jared Leto.
But even all that power couldn’t save this one. Don’t pout, Ben. We feel you.
