Even Blake Lively’s ‘Deadpool 2’ Premiere Outfit Is Uber Supportive of Ryan Reynolds

By now we all know that Blake Lively knows how to put together a well thought out red carpet outfit. If you don’t, we invite you to check out her show-stopping 2018 Met Gala outfit. But if you needed more proof, the actress and mother of two stepped out on Monday, May 14, to the NYC premiere of Deadpool 2 to support her husband Ryan Reynolds. And her entire outfit and glam was a coded reference to either him or his new film!

Her first tribute came in the form of an epic black sequined Brandon Maxwell jumpsuit with a maroon bow waist — it’s basically Deadpool’s costume but #Fashion. Not only that, but her deep berry lip was also the same shade of red that Deadpool rocks while he kicks serious butt.

What that might have been a subtle nod to the movie, Lively  then took things up a notch by adding a Deadpool-themed manicure, which she showed off while holding a beaded Judith Leiber clutch — a favorite brand of hers — that had “party mix” embroidered on one side and “chill beats” on the other. Her Met Gala clutch adorably referenced her family of four, so it’s entirely possible that Lively is carrying a secret message in her hands for all of Us to sartorial decipher.
