Britney Spears is having fun with fashion!
Twenty-four hours after the X Factor judge modeled a sequined Halston dress at a gala in Beverly Hills, the 30-year-old pop phenom attended We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. October 11.
Spears, who bonded with Jennifer Hudson backstage, wore a gray Lever Couture mini-dress featuring fanned sleeves. She completed her age-appropriate look with YSL shoes and Neil Lane jewelry.
The “Criminal” singer was on hand to introduce a video package honoring Houston, who passed away suddenly at age 48 on February 11, 2012. “She seemed poised and confident,” an attendee tells Us Weekly of Spears. “She looked great!”
Spears also tweeted a photo of herself and her fiance, Jason Trawick, 40, backstage at the event. “Such a solemn occasion,” the Louisiana native wrote. “Jason’s doing his best to put a smile on my face.”
Hudson, meanwhile, sang a medley of Houston’s biggest hits, including “I’m Every Woman,” “How Will I Know?” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” Other performers included Usher, Jordin Sparks, Yolanda Adams and Cece Winans.
We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston will air on November 16 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
