When your crooner hubby is celebrating the launch of his LVE Wines project, you turn up the glam. That’s just what Chrissy Teigen did to celebrate her husband John Legend’s latest venture on Saturday, June 23 — complete with glowing, sculpted makeup courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips.
Even better: we can all cop the signature Teigen sculpt and glow because Phillips blessed Us all by sharing the step by step process for how to create the glam look, but sadly baby Luna doesn’t come as a beauty assistant (as Phillips credits her in the Instagram post) – that’s a Chrissy exclusive.
Using the shades from the NudeStix Jetsetter Palette, Phillips created a look which she described in her Instagram caption as “smokey and glowing City Nights” vibes. First, the glam guru evened out the new momma’s base with La Mer Soft Fluid Foundation in the shade Honey, adding extra coverage where Teigen needed it with La Mer Concealer in Deep.
To create the subtle sculpting to the host of Lip Sync Battle’s cheeks, Phillips applied the NudeStix Nudies cream blush in In the Nude. On the eyes, she applied Nude Stix Magnetic Eye Colors in Cocoa and Immortal to make Teigen’s deep brown peepers pop.
On the lips, Phillips applied NudeStix Gel Lip + Cheek Balm in Pulse with a touch of Posh mixed in.
And since a Teigen glam session wouldn’t be complete without any products from her collaboration with Becca Cosmetics, the beauty pro added some of the Becca x Chrissy Glow Gloss in Beach Nectar as a finishing touch.
