Something new! Chrissy Teigen ditched her go-to cutoff shorts for ripped jeans while strolling in NYC on Tuesday, June 7.
“Hi NYC. Happy to be inside you for a couple hours,” she jokingly wrote on Twitter of her quick trip to the Big Apple (she was back in L.A. later that night).
Over the past three months — before, during and after the new mom’s pregnancy with baby Luna — Teigen, 30 has lived in her One x One Teaspoon short shorts. But she left those by the wayside for her most recent trip to Manhattan.
Instead, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model rocked a pair of destroyed, tapered jeans in a light wash. She paired the denim with a tan-colored knit crop top and matching overcoat. A pair of mirrored aviators, a light blue mini bucket bag and nude heels completed her polished look.
But just because Teigen ditched her short shorts doesn’t mean she stopped having fun with her bottoms. Earlier in the day, she cuffed her jeans for an overall preppier vibe, while later on, she unrolled her cuffs to give the outfit more of a rocker edge.
That’s not the only time Us wondered where her short shorts went. The day before, she wore an almost identical outfit (a taupe House of CB bodysuit, khaki trench and light-wash skinnies) at Hillary Clinton‘s fundraiser in NYC.
Before that, Teigen was spotted on Sunday, June 5, in a black top, black duster coat and skinny jeans, paired with black strappy sandals in Beverly Hills.
And on Friday, June 3, the model went monochrome in black denim, with a matching bodysuit and jacket in L.A.
