Ciara one-two–stepped it up for her wedding day! The “Dance Like We’re Making Love Singer,” 30, tapped Giuseppe Zanotti to create a pair of pristine sandals for her walk down the aisle with Russell Wilson on July 6.
During the Cheshire, England, ceremony, the new Mrs. Wilson wore a white satin mid-heel high sandal with a lace ankle strap. The shoes were hidden underneath her custom-made deep-V Cavalli Couture long-sleeve gown, composed of white tulle, fully embroidered with floral motifs throughout and delicate glass beading, and covered entirely with precious Chantilly lace appliqué.
The singer gave a shout-out to the Italian shoe designer, 59, on Tuesday, July 12. “Thank You Mr Giuseppe For All Your Hard Work You Put Into Making Sure I Had The Perfect Shoe For My Wedding. Love You,” she captioned an Instagram of a sketch.
Ciara’s son, Future Jr., was also a part of the Giuseppe gang for Mom’s nuptials. The brand crafted a pair of Giuseppe Junior white leather custom-made sneakers with silver metal hardware for her 2-year-old, who she shares with ex-fiancé Future.
The Wilsons made their debut as a married couple at the 2016 ESPY Awards on Wednesday, July 13. Ciara, who wore another Roberto Cavalli gown paired with nude Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, gushed about life with her new love to ESPN. “There’s too many best parts,” she revealed. “But the personal moments that we had superseded all of that for me. It was one of the most perfect days in all of my life.”
One perk of it all is probably the, um, benefits. Ciara and Wilson abstained from sex until marriage, and joked about what they did after their ceremony. “So, baby, you know what we’re doing tonight,” Ciara told her new husband in a July 7 Snapchat video. “And what we did last night, I want to do multiple times,” Wilson replied.
