Crayola is taking over the beauty game and our inner art-kid is loving it! Previously Crayola has collaborated with Sally Hansen on a classic color nail polish collection, which included recognizable colors such as Cerulean and Razzmatazz. They followed up that launch with a second Sally Hansen collaboration this time focused on spring debuting colors in pastel shades of blue, yellow, pink and green. After rocking the nail polish world, Crayola dipped into cosmetics. They launched a collection with beauty brand Clinique, which featured Chubby Stick Lip Color Balms. But those who yearn to find more ways to paint their world with Crayola colors are in luck! Now the beloved childhood crayon company is joining forces with online British fashion and beauty shop ASOS to launch a cosmetics line.
The Crayola Beauty line will feature 58 products, all made cruelty-free and completely vegan. The collection will consist of various beauty products such as color-changing lipsticks, highlighters, eyeshadow palettes, bold mascaras and a cool artist-like brush kit. But let’s be real, Crayola is all about the color and when it comes down to it, they do not disappoint — the collection will comprise of 95 shades, each one designed to be brighter than the next.
The pieces, which Crayola defines as ”gender fluid” were inspired by the brand’s “true spirit of self-expression and personal creativity.” Their goal is to “empower people to confidently be themselves.” There’s no doubt that this launch will motivate makeup lovers everywhere to have fun and be creative with it.
Crayola Beauty launches on Monday, June 4, and will be exclusively available to ASOS.com. The products prices range from $15 – $40. Coloring your face with makeup packaged like a crayon? Priceless.
