No grey here! Dakota Johnson stepped out earlier this week showing off quite the Anastasia Steele look as she debuted a darker shade of brunette locks. The usual blonde actress — who's set to star in E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey film adaption — revealed her new chic hairstyle while shopping at The Grove with British actress Imogen Poots in West Hollywood, Calif., on Monday, Nov. 11.
During the outing, the 24-year-old actress dressed down in tight-fitting brown pants, sneakers, and an oversized black sweater. The nearly unrecognizable star also tried to keep low key by wearing black sunglasses.
Last month, it was announced that Jamie Dornan would be replacing Sons of Anarchy's Charlie Hunnam as Christian Grey in the highly-anticipated film. "Jamie has a really good reputation as someone easy to work with, easy going and is seen as someone who will very appreciative of this role," an insider revealed to Us Weekly on why he won the role. "It's his charm and personality that is winning people over."
And winning over his leading lady! "Jamie and Dakota are getting along very well," a source tells Us. "Production is going very smoothly."
But for now, fans of the provocative book series will have to sit tight to see the chemistry between Johnson and Dornan, 31. Universal Pictures just announced that the film won't be released until February 13, 2015. (The original debut was slated for August 1, 2014.)
