UPDATE: Hours after Barrymore posted the picture of her new tattoo, news broke that the actress and husband Will Kopelman had split. The couple wed at her Montecito, California, estate in June 2012.

It’s a permanent kind of love.

Drew Barrymore inked her right wrist with the names of her two daughters, Olive and Frankie. In a March 31 Instagram post, the How to Be Single producer, 41, said that she was getting a “great little lifetime note” as a tribute to Olive, 3, and Frankie, 23 months — the children she shares with husband Will Kopelman.

Her newest body art joins a “Breathe” tattoo on her left arm, which she got to “remember the importance of everything and to keep breathing,” she once told David Letterman. She also has an outline of a bird on her right forearm, a bouquet of flowers on her hip, a butterfly on her stomach, a crescent moon on her toe, a cross on her lower right leg, and two angels on her lower back — for her late mother, Jaid, and a former boyfriend.

It’s been a busy month in the world of celebrity ink: David Beckham and Ariel Winter both hit up Hollywood’s Shamrock Social Club. In a March 30 Instagram, Beckham, 40, unveiled a huge image of a pair of cherubs that he got tattooed on his ankle. And 18-year-old Winter etched “Love risks everything and asks for nothing” in Greek on her right hip, per a March 23 Instagram post.
