Ladies and gentlemen: Mr. and Mrs. Clooney! George Clooney and his stunning wife Amal Alamuddin hit the 2015 Met Gala red carpet outside of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on Monday, May 4, looking like quite the picture-perfect couple.
Clooney, 53, dressed in a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure formal black tuxedo, comprised of a black wool and cashmere tailcoat. The actor’s jacket featured silk grosgrain lapels and a wing-collared white formal shirt.
His lawyer wife, 37, reveled in the spotlight in a custom, strapless cherry silk organza gown by John Galliano for Maison Margiela. Alamuddin’s bodice included an armored, studded material, while her skirt featured tiered satin and tulle. The accomplished human rights lawyer had her long brunette locks styled to the side in elegant, loose waves by renowned hair stylist Orlando Pita.
Vogue shared a snap of Alamuddin being fitted for her gown by the French designer. In the background of the behind-the-scenes pic, Anna Wintour looked on approvingly at Clooney’s wife.
