We are all about hair — and makeup too! Here at Stylish we’ve never seen a hairstyle or makeup trend we couldn’t talk about for days on end, so we started a podcast to dish on all the latest beauty news — from hits and misses on the red carpet to celebrity hair and makeup gurus’ dos and don’ts. Each week, Us Weekly beauty director Gwen Flamberg talks with some of the best in the biz about what’s new in hair, makeup and style in our Get Tressed With Us podcast. Listen below!

This week Gwen, deputy beauty and style director Beth Shapouri and senior reporter Travis Cronin welcomed celebrity hair pro Kristin Ess to talk about all things styling tools. And Ess would know  — she’s the stylist behind Lucy Hale’s impeccably coiffed mane.

But first the Stylish trio discusses Gwyneth Paltrow’s not-so-secret wedding pictures of which she finally released last week. And, of course, they had to address how GP achieved the perfect combo of effortlessly styled hair for her big day (which the gang later learned came courtesy of Orlando Pita).

Then, Ess joins the trio to talk about her new hair tools, joining her line of fabulous hair products. Ess explains that her affordable luxury line is aimed to fill a void in the market of hairstylers: pretty, functional and affordable tools. And there’s a gamechanger in the mix too: “I created a tool that goes from a 180 to 90 degree angle so that you can style both sides of your hair without having to do a Jane Fonda workout move.”  Talk even turns to the genius gadget that Ess created to tame your frizzies and baby hairs in a pinch!
