Everybody wants to be Amal Alamuddin! Like Ellen DeGeneres and Meredith Vieira before her, In Living Color actress Ali Wentworth dressed in costume as Mrs. George Clooney for Good Morning America‘s Halloween special on Friday, Oct. 31. Wentworth was there in support of her husband, GMA anchor George Stephanopoulos, who channeled Alamuddin’s handsome groom in a light-colored suit and sunglasses.
The couple posed together in a makeshift boat, just as Clooney and his bride did during their wedding weekend in Italy in late September. Wentworth modeled a replica of the human rights lawyer’s floral and white lace Giambattista Valli frock, which Alamuddin wore the day after she said “I do.”
Stephanopoulos’ GMA colleague Lara Spencer, meanwhile, went as a different Brit — Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s firstborn son, Prince George. She sat in a shopping cart that had been made over to look like a stroller, her bonneted head attached to a tiny fake body, as royal guards wheeled her around New York City’s Times Square.
The rest of the GMA crew got in on the fun, too, mixing it up with a combination of fictional characters and pop stars. Robin Roberts, for example, donned a sparkly blue dress and white-blonde wig to look like Queen Elsa from Disney’s Frozen.
Amy Robach also went as a Disney character — albeit a much scarier one. She wore a black wrap dress and black horns to channel Angelina Jolie‘s Maleficent, complete with hollowed cheek bones and blood-red lips.
Weather woman Ginger Zee transformed herself into pop princess Ariana Grande, rocking the “Bang Bang” singer’s trademark high ponytail and a glittery white leotard with knee-high boots. She posed with the weekend anchors, who donned wigs and suits to look like the boys of One Direction.
