Halle Berry just jumped on the blunt bob bandwagon!
The Oscar-winning actress, 49, debuted the chin-skimming chop at the AOL Makers Conference in Rancho Palos Verde, California, Tuesday, February 2. The natural brunette’s ‘do also boasted caramel highlights and face-framing fringe.
On the style front, the mom of Nahla, 7, and Maceo, 2, modeled a white dress with an asymmetrical hemline, teamed with pointed-toe pumps.
The Extant actress was chosen to speak at the conference to share her story as a leader and a woman, but she also revealed her thoughts on the #OscarsSoWhite debate.
“It’s heartbreaking, because I thought that moment was bigger than me,” she said, referencing her 2001 Best Actress win — the only time the Academy has given a woman of color the honor. “It’s heartbreaking to start to think maybe it wasn’t bigger than me. Maybe it wasn’t. And I so desperately felt like it was.”
“We’d been talking about going shorter for a while and felt it was the right time,” Dunst’s stylist, Cervando Maldonado, exclusively told Us Weekly in January. “I took about two inches off and cut it blunt because it accentuates her face and is a cool, fresh look.”
