Hilary Duff wears the single life well! The 26-year-old singer-actress looked sexy and — more importantly — happy at the Delta Air Lines 2014 Grammy Weekend Reception party on Jan. 23, her first red carpet appearance since she and husband Mike Comrie announced their separation earlier this month.
Posing for pictures at West Hollywood hotspot Soho House, the former Lizzie McGuire star showed off her toned legs in a patterned minidress and chic black pumps with thick ankle straps. A tailored black blazer, an envelope-style clutch, and dark red lipstick completed the glam look.
Duff — mom to son Luca, 22 months — was all smiles at the star-studded event, which featured a private performance by "Royals" phenom Lorde. (Julianne Hough, Jena Malone, Ashley Benson, and Kaley Cuoco were also on the guest list.)
As previously reported, the Disney alum and her former NHL player husband, 33, announced on Jan. 10 that they had separated after three years of marriage. A source told Us Weekly they had been in counseling for 18 months but ultimately realized they were "better as friends."
"The spark was no longer there," the insider explained.
That said, the split was very amicable. "They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives," her rep told Us. "They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son."
