It's official! Fitted denim dresses — yes, those '90s staples — are back and having a major moment in Hollywood. And thanks to Emma Roberts, Bella Hadid and Chloë Grace Moretz, we now have three fresh ways to style the trendy piece.
Serving up the most classic option, Roberts, 25, wore her bustier-inspired N Nicholas dress ($435, bloomingdales.com) with Coach sunglasses and wedge sandals at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in April. The Scream Queens actress' ensemble had a breezy summer feel, just in time for the upcoming season.
However, Hadid, 19, embraced the denim dress' '90s origins by adding the perfect throwback pieces to her Reformation Rowena Dress ($178, thereformation.com): hoop earrings and a choker by Chrome Hearts, striped socks and grungy lace-up boots. In the ultimate pre-aughts move, the model also added a half-up high ponytail hairstyle, complete with deeply parted bangs, for her night out at L.A.'s the Nice Guy in April.
And finally, Moretz, 19, teamed her cutout J. W. Anderson denim dress (sold out) with a polka-dot red blouse. The addition of the bow top, not to mention her T-strap heels, gave the casual piece instant polish. Plus, she wore it to 102.7 KIIS FM's Jingle Ball in NYC in December, so those sleeves kept her warm!
