Not in the Dixie anymore!
Ditching the colorful, '50s-inspired costumes she wears on Hart of Dixie for the night, Jaime King donned an ultra-glam, flapper-esque ensemble to celebrate Elle's Women in Television in West Hollywood on Tuesday, Jan. 13.
The Hart of Dixie actress, 35, looked extremely slim in a plunging, champagne-hued Jason Wu for Hugo Boss dress with semi-sheer panels and pearlescent beading. To complete the look, she added bronze statement bracelets and a mother-of-pearl box clutch.
For beauty, the mom to James Knight, 15 months, applied minimal makeup: light blush on her high cheekbones, a rose gold shimmer on her eyes, and mauve lipstick. Her blonde tresses hung loose with a slight curl at the ends.
While she appeared to be having a smashing time at the mag event, posing for pictures with Jenna Dewan Tatum, Lena Dunham, and Julie Bowen, King dished that the 2015 Golden Globes before were particularly special to her.
"The highlight of the Globes was just being with my friends and supporting each other. It was a really beautiful night," King shared, then added, "Oh, and dancing with Bill Murray! My husband pushed Nina Dobrev into Bill and he picked her up over his shoulders and spun her around. I was dying!"
Another friend she hung with at the Globes: her ultimate stay-in bestie, Taylor Swift. "[We do] really basic boring stuff, but it’s actually more fun than anything you could possibly do going out to a club," the former model said. "I think it’s really about having conversation and dance parties at home. Just enjoying each other’s company."
And each other's food! "Taylor’s an incredible cook—she's amazing," King gushed. "She makes this amazing raspberry balsamic chicken situation."
