Sure the Victoria’s Secret Angels have certainly been genetically blessed, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t rely on killer beauty products and treatments to feel fabulous, just like the rest of Us. For example, on Wednesday, October 31, a little over a week before the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, supermodel Jasmine Tookes stopped by Envious Lashes to get a fresh set before the runway extravaganza’s taping next week.

Now, the New York City-based lash salon specializes in a number of different services from lash and brow extensions to waxing, but the key to the eyelash services is that the beautifiers there create custom sets for each client. Prior to application, clients receive a consultation with a stylist to determine their eye shape, quality of their natural lashes and even their skin tone. Then, various lengths, curvatures and widths of lashes are selected to create a bespoke set, which is then applied.

So what did Tookes get for the big occasion? Founder and celebrity lash expert Clementina Richardson, whose clients also include Jenna Dewan, Naomi Campbell, Angela Basset and Mary J Blige, created a unique hybrid set using a combination of their “Envious Eyes” and “Bombshell” style lashes to impart an extreme cat eye look for the show. Richardson also used different lengths and widths of extensions to define and shape Jasmine’s eyes to make them appear more lifted.

Pro tip: lash extensions require maintenance between appointments to they remain looking pristine. Tookes uses Envious Lashes’ Lash Conditioning Serum and Protective Sealer to ensure that her flutter stays fabulous before she films the runway show taping the first week of November.
