Jennifer Aniston supported her former Friends costar Courteney Cox at the Just Before I Go screening on Monday, April 20, in Los Angeles. The ageless twosome hammed it up at the event, making goofy poses and hugging in front of the photographers.
The Cougar Town star, 50, showed off her curves in a plunging red suede dress by Jitrois that featured leather detailing along the neckline. She completed the look with black ankle strap Saint Laurent sandals, Jennifer Meyer earrings, and a matching clutch. Cox was glowing with natural makeup and unveiled her new shoulder-grazing bob hairstyle.
The future Mrs. Justin Theroux, who was handsier than ever with her BFF, looked more casual, wearing a black tuxedo dress and black suede boots. Aniston, 46, accessorized with wire-rimmed aviator glasses.
It wasn’t just BFF time as Cox brought along her budding fashionista daughter to the premiere. Coco, 10, rocked a furry white sweater jacket over a black T-shirt and rolled-up distressed jeans. Cox didn’t need much persuading to take on the gig as director of the project. “I seldom read something that makes me laugh out loud and makes me cry, and that’s what this film did for me,” she told Us Weekly. “I understood the characters — there are some ignorant characters, there are some enlightened characters — but what you learn is that we all have struggles and troubles.” Cox added, “I just wanted to tell a story about real people and that’s what it was.”
Creating the comedy was a family affair for Cox, as her daughter played a huge part in the process. “Coco sang the opening song of the film,” she told Us. “It’s beautiful, she’s got a great voice. She’s such a big part of this.”
