A Valentine to his fans!
Before launching his sneaker collection with Adidas Originals in stores on February, Feb. 14, Kanye West hosted a fashion show for his Yeezy Boost line on Thursday, Feb. 12 — right in the middle of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.
Fresh from his Grammys appearance (where he wore a pair of Boosts), the rapper, 37, celebrated Fashion Week and the NBA All-Star weekend with wife Kim Kardashian, the couple's daughter North West, BFFs Jay Z and Beyonce, and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, who all sat front row.
Sister-in-law Kylie Jenner also made an appearance — in the show! Bruce and Kris Jenner's daughter walked the catwalk alongside the other models, who mixed and matched in nude, white and gray leotards, and body stockings. "Kanye X Adidas," Kylie, 17, captioned a pic backstage with Kardashian, 34. "Thank u to Yé for believing in me."
Mrs. West, meanwhile, sat next to Bey in an outfit that mirrored the models. She wore a dark leotard, stockings, and covered up in an army jacket. Beyonce looked glam in a navy dress with jewelry embellishments.
An insider tells Us that West was extremely involved in the process to make sure the show was a success. He even stayed at the Adidas office until midnight for several nights to prepare ahead of time.
"SO PROUD OF YOU KANYE," makeup artist and family friend Joyce Bonelli captioned a pic. "@kimkardashian #FAMiLY #NYFW." Khloe Kardashian also posted a photo. "So proud of you Yeezy!!!!" she gushed. "#YeezySeason."
Of course, Kardashian has been supporting her hubby's new line since day one. On Feb. 7, she posted an Instagram snap of eight boxes of Yeezey Boosts she was prepping to send to friends, including Jay Z and Big Sean. "Yeezy put me in charge of the fam distribution," she wrote. "#WifeLife."
