Could Kate Hudson’s gown be any more romantic? The Mother’s Day actress, 37, looked ethereal in a powder-blue gown at the Fendi Roma 90 Year Anniversary in Rome on Thursday, July 7.
The soft, pleated dress by Fendi featured a high-collar neckline, cascading wisps of delicate fabric and capelike details that created movement. And Hudson knew it was even better from the back, posting an Instagram of her outfit from behind ahead of the runway event. “Fendi ready 💙 @Fendi #WhenInRome (Photo cred @sophielopez 📷),” she wrote.

The design wasn’t all angelic, though. It also had sexy cutouts that showed off the Almost Famous alum’s incredibly toned abs and obliques.
Hudson paired the textured number with subtle, dangling earrings, a matching clutch and blush-colored Brian Atwood heels.

In keeping with the flowing nature of the garment, the mom of Ryder, 12, and Bingham, 4, wore her hair long — shoulder-blade length — in soft curls. Her black-rimmed blue smoky eyes matched the dress as she took in Fendi’s show, which featured models Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid “walking on water” at the iconic Trevi Fountain.
The jaw-dropping presentation left Hudson amazed. “What a spectacular show….and I even got to make a wish✨✨@Fendi,” she captioned a cheeky snap of her near the fountain.
