Wardrobe worries? It’s handled!
The highly anticipated Scandal collection for The Limited is finally revealed. As the sneak peek revealed in June, the line, which was designed by Kerry Washington, Scandal costume designer Lyn Paolo, and Elliot Staples, head of design at The Limited, is full of Olivia Pope-worthy drapey coats and power suits.
“By creating a line inspired by the show, we are introducing a collection that embodies the elegance and power of the Scandal aesthetic for real-life gladiators and everyday fashionistas,” Washington said. “The collection is a nod to our devoted fans, to fans of fashion and to women everywhere who are inspired to boldly pursue their passions and look good while doing it.”
Office-Appropriate Soft Greys, Pinks, and Beiges
The Olivia Pope homage features a blue-toned drape collar wrap coat ($248) paired with a silk necktie blouse ($69.95) and blush colored flare leg trousers ($98). A pink drape collar jacket ($248) can be paired with a black pencil skirt ($79.95). The tweed peplum jacket ($168) and slim ankle pants ($98) ooze a business vibe. Another standout from the collection is the star’s now iconic cape jacket, translated into a beige plaid design ($228), matched in the look book with leather gloves and a leather handbag.
Special Occasion Winter Whites, Suiting a Tinge Teal, & Sexy Pencil Skirts
Evoke the true spirit of Olivia Pope in a white cape sleeve trench ($198) paired with the flare leg trouser ($98). A plush wrap coat with a draped collar ($248), paired with a peach ruffle blouse ($49.95) and matching trousers ($98) say: “I mean business.” A black necktie blouse ($69.95), and a matching pencil skirt featuring sailor buttons ($79.95) expresses sex appeal.
You can get your hands on the collection when it hits The Limited stores and online on Sept. 23. Be sure to rock your Scandal fashion when the show premieres on Thursday, Sept. 25 on ABC.
