Kris Jenner has upped the ante in terms of friendship: it was recently revealed that the momager and reality T.V. star recently splurged on a facelift for her longtime friend Sheila Kolker. And, of course, the whole thing played out on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Jenner, no stranger to going under the knife herself, explained that when she had her own face done “That was a really hard thing for me to go through. And who was there every single step of the way? Sheila.” And that’s why she returned the favor by gifting her pal with the same procedure: The Pinnacle Facelift courtesy of Dr. Garth Fisher in Beverly Hills. And we turned to the doc to get all the details on his signature face refresher.

The nip-tuck procedure is customized for every individual patient, with the main difference from a traditional facelift being that it’s comprised of a number of a smaller individual procedures as opposed to one massive and more extensive one. As a result, you get tinier scars and a two week downtime before you can reveal your new face to the world. What kind of results can you expect? Opened up and freshened eyes, elevated cheeks and youthful contours in the neck and jawline.

Think: tinier incisions along smaller areas, so the overall effect is more natural — and with less scarring.  Dr. Garth told Us just how each procedure is customized for a patient explaining, “We anatomically analyze the brows, eyes, face and necks of patients identifying areas that can be refreshed for a more youthful appearance. The combination of surgical elements and their execution are customized to the needs of the individual patient. The end result is a procedure that offers a natural result that endures with time, minimizes scarring and hairline shifts as well as the loss of any hair — and an expedited recovery.”

While patients heal, Dr. Fisher also recommends they use his own SPF 55 sunscreen, Doc Block, which is packed with botanical butters and clinically tested tea extracts, formulated to protect skin from photo-aging and keep healing scars protected too.

Well, we may not all have a bestie as fab as Kris Jenner to foot the bill for a little knife action, but we’re all a little facelift-wiser because of her.
