Top of the topless! Kristen Stewart just can’t resist stepping out without her shirt, as she proved on Thursday, October 6, in NYC.
The Certain Women actress, 26, skipped both a blouse and a bra while serving up her signature rock-and-roll vibes in a crisp blazer over a plunging vest. She also worked chartreuse plaid 3.1 Phillip Lim jogger pants, a Chanel tote and a pair of her beloved Vans sneakers. (She originally wore Jimmy Choo pumps for a Personal Shopper appearance earlier in the day, but swapped them out for kicks, as she is wont to do.)
The bold sartorial choice came three days after her appearance at the 2016 New York Film Festival, where Stewart went shirtless in an unbuttoned Sandro suit, offering a flash of her bare chest. She vamped up that style with a matching oxblood statement lip.
When the Twilight alum, who’s currently dating visual effects producer Alicia Cargile, finally did hit the streets with a top (for a second outing on October 6), she chose one that hit close to her heart: a tee featuring an illustration of Allen Ginsberg‘s Howl. The Beat poet, who died in 1997, is one of the characters in Jack Kerouac‘s On the Road. Stewart starred in the big-screen adaptation of the book in 2012.
