Kylie Jenner will do just about anything for her makeup artist, including going to the worst place on earth: the DMV.
On Tuesday, June 18, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posted a series of videos to her Instagram Story showcasing her DMV exploits with the makeup artist Ariel Tejada.
“So the adventures today,” she said in the first video outside the Department Of Motor Vehicles in Thousand Oaks, California. “I am making Ariel get his f—ing license.” In the background behind the 21-year-old is Tejada on his phone looking a little bit nervous. “He’s been studying all day. I told him yesterday and we’ve been studying.”
The next video is shot inside, as the Kylie Cosmetics founder asks Tejada if he’s ready for his test. “I hope so,” he replies. Then she asks if he’s scared, to which he says, “a little.”
But then in the third and final video, it’s nothing but celebrations. The makeup artist is seen skipping out the door with a piece of paper in his hand as Jenner screams, “You passed!”
Jenner and her makeup artists’ relationship has proven to be close over this past year. Just last month, Forbes’ youngest self-made billionaire bought her makeup guru a massive diamond ring for his 24th birthday.
“I love you!” she said when she gave him the ring during his surprise birthday bash on May 29. “I’m always listening and he told me when we were doing glam he said, ‘Oh my god I just went back again. I saw this ring at XIV Karats. I’m so obsessed.’ And I was just like on my phone acting like I wasn’t listening and I’m like, ‘Oh really cool.'” But she took a mental note, called up the store, asked what he wanted and bought it.
