So many gorgeous gowns! Hollywood headed east for the Nordic State Dinner at the White House on May 13, where the First Family invited notables to rub shoulders with Scandinavian leaders. First Lady Michelle Obama sparkled in a blush-colored Naeem Khan dress. The 52-year-old mom of Sasha, 14, and Malia, 17, showed some shoulder in the asymmetrical off-the-shoulder frock. Miranda Kerr was also beautiful in blush. While on the arm of her beau, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, she donned a Carolina Herrera A-line with a field of floral appliqués.
Watch Us Weekly’s Red Carpet Daily video, presented by AT&T, to see their stunning styles. Plus, keep watching to see how the stars celebrated at the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on May 14 in NYC. Laverne Cox, the night’s host, scored a three-peat with her trio of glam looks. First up, a dashing, red-hot cutout by Mikael D, featuring a thigh-high slit and long train. Michael Costello crafted her second dress, a forest green, long-sleeved mermaid gown. And for the grand finale, Cox, 31, once again showed skin in a Rubin Singer strapless number with a sexy slit.
“I love being dressed up, but this took a lot of work,” she told Us Weekly on the red carpet. “It was a hotel room of people that made this happen, so I love my casual no-makeup days when I'm in sweats and Ivy Park and just chillin’!”
Caitlyn Jenner sparkled in a long-sleeved Donna Karan pick with matching Neil Lane drop earrings to accept her award along with Diane Sawyer for Outstanding TV Journalism. Jenner, 66, was glowing for more than one reason — right before the ceremony, she Instagrammed herself in a mud mask and went on about the joys of being a woman. “Sooo worth it,” she captioned.
