Name: Coco Rocha

Occupation: Supermodel

Perfect Blend: The Canadian-born stunner — who will be one of the coaches on Oxygen's new modeling competition The Face (episodes begin in early 2013) — describes her style as "an eclectic mix of high and low fashion." To wit, her wardrobe favorites include everything from a faux fur waistcoat she got when she was five ("It was once knee-length but now of course it's very snug. It's crazy that I still wear it 19 years later but I'm not thinking of retiring it any time soon!") to a hot pink and orange Rebecca Minkoff purse ("Any time I feel like my outfit is a little boring, I'll throw on an orange lip and grab the Minkoff and I've instantly upped the voltage by 200 percent!") to a black embellished jacket from Alice and Olivia ("It's got this great military/Michael Jackson style to it, which is completely up my alley").

Loving Ms. Liz: "I've always been a huge admirer of Elizabeth Taylor," says the 24-year-old supermodel, who has graced the covers of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and W, as well as appeared in ad campaigns for Versace, Chanel, Lanvin and Calvin Klein. "She had such amazing class and style. The great thing about her is you know she picked everything herself, before the days of celebrity stylists taking all the fun out of it. At an auction I actually bought a Givenchy jumpsuit she had owned in the '80s and wore it to the Met Gala." Another fashion icon: "If I could dress as the female version of Karl Lagerfeld everyday, I probably would. I love that he is always Karl, all hours of the day and night. You'll never find him in sweatpants and a hoodie and that's true style commitment."

Aisle Be There for You: "If ever I'm in need of a beautiful look for an event, nine times out of 10, I turn to Zac Posen. Not only is he a very close personal friend, but I find his gowns and dresses flatter a woman in all the right ways," says Rocha, who wore one of Posen's creations in her 2010 wedding to artist James Conran. "I just walked in his fashion 2013 show and there were at least a dozen dresses I had my eye on. I loved mine, but I was in the wedding dress so I don't think I'll be wearing that out and about any time soon."

Rare Rorm: "If I'm really hunting for a one-of-a-kind piece, I'll go to a vintage store like Beacon's Closet [in Brooklyn] where I know I'll find something no one else in New York is wearing," says Rocha. One unique item she owns? "I recently got a pair of black YSL sneakers that have tiny gold studs on them. They are so amazing and incite all kinds of jealousy every time I wear them!"

Quote: "New Yorkers dress very dark and chic. When I'm spending my days stomping the streets of New York, I nearly always find myself in monochromatic shades of black and gray. I love my leather boots, leather jackets and hard protective layers. I guess we wear them almost like a suit of armor. In Paris, you'll see me in a cute little summery dress and when I'm in L.A., I finally bring out the colors. But I feel more myself in NYC."
