Nina Dobrev was the ultimate cool girl at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, Aug. 16, in Los Angeles. The double winner paired her sparkly Zuhair Murad dress with a smoldering eye and nude lip courtesy of celeb makeup artist Beau Nelson.

Master Dobrev's "cool girl" beauty with these tips straight from Nelson to Us.

For the Vampire Diaries alum's complexion, it's all about a subtle radiance. "I wanted to give Nina a natural satin finish with a little bit of glow so I used Giorgio Armani Designer Lift Smooth Firming Foundation in #6 and #9," Nelson, who also works with Kristen Stewart, Christina Hendricks, and Nicole Richie, told Us. "Next I used Mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette in Pearly Pink on the apples of her cheeks and finished the look with Mark That's Brilliant Face & Eye Luminizer on her cheekbones to give her a dewy radiance."

However, the real standout of Dobrev's "undone but super chic" makeup were her brown eyes. "The eyes were the main focus of Nina's look," Nelson told Us. "I started using Mark On the Dot Neutral Eye Color Compact, applying the darkest brown hue to the crease to create definition. Then I used Mark On the Edge Liquid Eyeliner to create a thick winged eye liner." Multiple coats of Mark Lash Act Build and Define Mascara and Anastasia Brow Pencil added even more definition.

To complete her sultry style, Nelson lined her lips with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liner in Iconic Nude and topped with Avon Ultra Color Indulgence Lip Color in Petal Pink. He finished with Mark Total Kiss Up Plumping Gloss in Sexy.
